About Us
The Texas Demographic Center (TDC) functions as a focal point for the distribution of Census Bureau information for Texas.
The TDC is part of the national State Data Center (SDC) partnership program and supports the Census Bureau’s efforts in the areas of geography, product testing, survey participation, community partnership building, and other programs.
Housed within The University of Texas at San Antonio and the Stephen F. Austin building in the Capitol Complex, the TDC serves as the lead state data center and coordinates a network consisting of coordinating agencies, state affiliates, local affiliates, and business and industry data centers.
